The mission of The Loughlin Charity Golf Open is to raise money for the benefit of non-profit organizations that do outstanding work improving the quality of life, education and health of people in need throughout the world.
We are proud to announce that this year’s event will benefit The Junior Welfare League of Huntington, Inc. (JWL), a non-profit organization founded more than 75 years ago to assist the needy of Huntington Township. The JWL demonstrates how volunteerism is – and should be – a vibrant part of every town across the country. What better way to honor that mission than to fuel the work of the JWL in our own community.
The JWL’s goal is to provide assistance to Huntington area residents in need while enabling them to maintain their anonymity, their independence and their dignity.
Membership is comprised of residents of Huntington Township, each of who humbly and diligently serve to meet the needs of their neighbors in need. The JWL relies on referrals from educational and social service workers, as well as from doctors, school officials and clergy of all faiths. Every attempt is made to fulfill all appeals. Because they have no national affiliation or administrative costs, 100%of all proceeds go directly back to the Huntington Community.
Please join us for this most worthy charity – you will make a difference.
